Mo’Indigo have learnt their blues the hard way - on the road playing with the likes of Sherman Robertson, Earl Gaines, Charles Walker and Ruby Turner. Formed in 1997, one of their first gigs was at the Great British R&B Festival, and the band have rteturned at every year since to growing acclaim.

Charter members Harry Lang (vocals), ) and John Bulpitt (bass) were joined by Robin Carr, guitar, in January 2002. Frazer Wigg (keyboards) joined a year later and Tony Gill replaced Alan Watkin on drums in July 2004. The band’s debut CD We Accuse The Blues came out in 1999. The same year Mo’Indigo undertook the first of three tours as opening act for Texan blues legend Sherman Robertson. They later backed Chick Willis and opened for Larry Garner, Angela Brown, John Mayall and Nashville songwriter/guitarist Fred James.

When Harry Lang came up with the idea of Beatles Blues - blues versions of Lennon and McCartney songs - Fred James agreed to produce the resulting CD. Mo’Indigo appeared alongside six US blues names and another half dozen of the best British blues and soul acts including Paul Lamb and Ruby Turner In August 2001 Lang produced and arranged a live version of Beatles Blues in London’s Docklands, at which the entire album cast came together in a three hour R&B spectacular.

Since then, the band have travelled extensively, in the UK and across
France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland and Austria. The band's 3rd CD "Are We There Yet" was released on the "Blues Matters!" label and featuresthe song Harry Lang wrote with Sherman Robertson, 'At The End Of The Day'.
